  1. no one's expecting you to be perfect; given the amount of activity occuring that week we'll have to make some slight alterations.

but...looking over the Experiment guide sent to you after registering for the Experiment, what commitments worry you the most?

  2. there's absolutely no way I can partake in this. I have a child and a pregnant woman to attend to, and I just moved to the country. I do all I can within reason, and riding a bike to school with a 3 yr old strapped to my back is not reasonable.
Just call me "Limited Impact Man."

  5. I'm sorry, but there's just no way I'm doing this! First of all, it's just way too late in the year, and every class has projects due. I need to eat quick, use my computer, drink my coffee, and print paper. We should have tried this earlier on. Secondly, this is way too "green" for me...there's no way I'm making my own toothpaste and deodorant. I use minimal lighting at night to conserve, but candles?...no way. Oh, and let's not forget not flushing the toilet after you pee...well, I'm sorry...that's just gross! I guess I'm just a terrible and selfish person, but this guy is taking it way too far!

  6. Lol! Guys, for class purposes I just want you to look at what things you find questionable...this is truly MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, right?
However, I do want you to consider what he's asking. Today in class we'll look at the extreme of this. But I am also going to point out some of the little stuff that we can do without sacrificing project time--honestly, my dissertation won't allow for it either.
But there is stuff like not running water while you brush, etc that we can do.

Warner, what's gross about "if its yellow, let it mellow"? Some of this stuff is hard to wrap our heads around--we'll see in the film how his friends, etc react to it;)

  7. Wait, did you guys just watch the video or did you actually look at the guide? The video is nuts.

  8. my daughter is 3, the baby is due August 7th.

In regards to making our own, I think we could all offer up ideas, which could make this real fun. For instance we could have a no paper towel or hand dryer use after going to the bathroom day (now that's about a dry mouth runner).

  9. I personally think it is too much for me right now. I am glad to see that people are taking the initiative in doing something like this but with my schedule and life style doing something like this would be too much of a stretch. Maybe later on when things calm down a bit I could attempt something similar to this but I doubt it will be as extreme.
